HMH is proud to announce our sponsorship of the esteemed Boulder Ballet as part of our ongoing community involvement efforts.  Architecture creates spaces for living; a sense of community makes the world a better place. Community service permeates all levels of the firm, reflected in wide-ranging engagements around Boulder’s art and architecture community. From pro bono work to introducing architecture and design to young students, HMH strives to model civic engagement within our industry and beyond. To that end, we share hundreds of hours annually with a variety of non-profit organizations through participation, membership, sponsorship, and donation of time and services.

Boulder Ballet’s vision is to be a leading arts organization celebrated for its excellence and inclusivity. They aspire to be a bold dance institution that creates a nurturing environment of artistic growth and builds a community of outstanding humans. The Boulder Ballet School (BBS) provides ballet training for all ages, pre-school through adult, in an atmosphere of creative excellence. As a professional-track ballet school, BBS challenges students dedicated to pursuing dance as a career but also welcomes those who dance purely for enjoyment.

We hope you’ll join us at a performance!

HMH team members, Leah and Alex, gained a behind-the-scenes view of Boulder Ballet’s creative process by donating their time and energy helping design the murder mystery set and gala event.  The mise-en-scène paints a picture of deceit and decadence waiting for the mystery to unfold

May 19–21, 2023, at the Dairy ARTS Center

This timeless tale, based on Shakespeare’s popular play, explores what happens when meddlesome fairies interfere with the lives of humans. Felix Mendelssohn’s original score creates a mystical atmosphere to compliment the story of the feuding fairies, Titania and Oberon, the mischievous Puck, and the mixed-up love of Helena, Hermia, Lysander and Dimitrius. This classical ballet will be choreographed by Artistic Director Ben Needham-Wood and can be enjoyed by all ages.
