Project Description

Modern Farmhouse

Modern Farmhouse

This Modern Farmhouse combines the sleek, clean lines of modern design with the cozy farmhouse aesthetic and perfectly blends them together to deliver a home that is sophisticated without feeling pretentious or unapproachable.

The white exterior board and batten combined with the standing seam gray metal roof and the metal windows immediately identify as a Modern Farmhouse. Inside, mixed metal accents compliment warm wood floors and neutral tones throughout an open floor plan for a hint of industrial charm. While cream is still the color of choice throughout, it is also paired with bright, bold hues. Exposed beams on the ceiling make for a great focal point and give this home a cozy feeling.

Modern Barn

Originally built to house a garage, workshop and wood storage, this classic barn has been gently re-imagined into a unique guesthouse with a rustic accents and modern comforts.

The focus of the interior was to preserve and accentuate the barn features as much as possible, and have a warm and cozy, energy efficient guest house. Programming included two bedrooms, two bathrooms, dining area, farmhouse kitchen and pantry, living room and laundry room.
