Modern Bridge House

Adding on to the existing older estate posed some unique challenges, and finding the right balance of modern design with respect to the home’s farmhouse roots was critically important in maintaining a cohesive design.

A contemporary portion was built alongside the existing home that includes a guest suite, home office, gym, pool support facilities, kids’ playroom, living room, kitchen & formal dining room. A glass “bridge” links the old house to the new section and offers the owners a backdrop for their extensive art collection.
