Minimalist Family Home

Minimalist Family Home

This home was inspired by an industrial aesthetic, aiming to create the ultimate indoor-outdoor entertainment space and urban oasis for the owners and guests.

Floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass doors connect to a large private side yard. Perforated metal screens throughout the property provide layers of privacy while a metal trellis frames the entry and protects the home from the elements. The exterior brick extends into the house further emphasizing the indoor/outdoor connection. The space comes alive with a mix of materials – concrete aggregate porcelain, warm wood paneling, stone slabs and matte black fixtures to add dimension and contrast.
