HMH felt a swift rapport with this Brazilian couple when we met to discuss plans for a home in rural Boulder. Traditionally, family is the foundation and social structure in Brazil, and the pair imagined an informal, light-filled dwelling in which they could live with their two high school age children, a collection of Brazilian art, and their love of ping pong.
They wanted a modern house, but also a place with warmth and comfort that will encourage the close family ties remain. With the two kids college-bound, coming/going, someday having families of their own — enough rooms for everyone was key.
Flexibility of spaces and capturing the stellar Flatiron and Indian Peak Mountain views are keys to the success of the Lakeview Residence.
