We’ve always known that Lauren Folkerts’ talents were ones to watch, and so it was no shock to learn she was chosen for the American Institute of Architect’s Christopher Kelley’s Leadership Development program. As one of just sixteen emerging professionals selected from across the state, this year-long initiative aims to train and nurture the next generation of leaders in our industry. Prospective participants must go through an application process for selection where proven career success, community involvement and the individual’s firm support is considered.
Lauren has been with HMH for four years (and counting) and has worked on a variety of projects throughout Boulder and the Front Range. Lauren earned her bachelor’s in architecture from the University of Oregon (2010), and is a registered architect in Colorado. She is also a member of AIA.
We are beyond proud of Lauren for her selection into this prestigious program. Her passion and individualism have helped her excel in her career, and we look forward to seeing how this program helps her continue to be an emerging leader in the field.
HMH wants to congratulate the entire 2020 – 2021 AIA Colorado Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program cohort and look forward to seeing the success of these industry leaders.
