HMH just returned from the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York where we scoured two whole floors of the Javits Center to find the best new designs that’s will be hitting the market.

From impressive displays of modern furniture, fixtures, student work, textiles, and everything in between, these are some of our favorite products from the show.

X Diamond 3/60 Chandelier

Catenary Stool

This lightweight plastic stool is named after the catenary arches found in Gothic cathedrals that inspired its form. The Conoid Design Catenary Stool stacks and is easy to move, and can double as an end table in a pinch.

Pretty recycled cardboard lights from Graypants. Available in white and natural brown, Scraplights are made from totally recyclable FSC-certified paper, produced from forests that replant more trees than they harvest.

Doble O Wall Clock

This is a company from Barcelona called Nomon that makes some really amazing clocks. The combination of noble materials and its particular design have turned this clock into something distinct.

Lust Coffee Table

Lust Coffee Table is a futuristic sculptural art table with a dynamic form designed by Amorph. Lust is made out of a composite with polyester finish. It can be customized to any base colors and glass shapes upon your request.

Bolt Sconce & Tetra Floor Light

Hollis+morris have given stick lighting a boost with their lightening bolt and pyramind fixtures. They can be suspended like a chandelier, or placed flush on the wall. Various finishes available.


Stellar Collection – Wearable Architecture

Inspired by 20th century kinetic sculptures, the Stellar line echoes the architectural principles of balance, rhythm, and harmony. Konzuk uses concrete mixed with diamond dust to create sparkling, shimmering surfaces.

Clad Chair

The fluid, organic and biomorphic line design, inspired by the Cycladic art, grants lightness and delicacy to the Jader Almeida’s Clad chair. The anatomical shapes support the body entirely while the twists and beveled edges seem to transpose the wood resistance limit.

Drexel University student Carl Durkow wanted “to create a form that encourages informality, a place where one could exist but not feel the pressure of life.” With his lovely Narl Chair, he definitely succeeded. Bonus, this shaggy chair is also a rocker.
