Thursday night (10/2), Month of Modern kicked off with a panel discussion about the constructs of “Colorado modern” style and what makes it so distinct. The event took place at Galvanize Boulder -- it was a full house, and the panel was thoughtful, engaging, talented and inspiring.
Every movement starts with geniuses who do really great work. Then the style becomes popular. The masses copy it and the design progressively gets worse.
I survived the AIA national convention in Chicago last week.
