Lauren grew up outside of Seattle, a place with a strong history of regional modernism, terrible weather, and beautiful landscapes. This lead to a love of buildings that work with the landscape and are made from simple forms that elevate the beauty and poetry of the everyday.
Lauren attended the University of Oregon and focused on sustainable design and Metalsmithing. In 2013 she won a design competition and was awarded a traveling fellowship that allowed her to explore the most sustainable cities in Europe and study how architecture, urban design, and culture allowed these cities to hit aggressive sustainability targets while simultaneously improving quality of life.
Lauren’s background in building science, art, and project management allow her to seamlessly integrate sustainability into beautiful, warm, modern buildings. She brings a high level of design and detail to every project she works on, and enjoys helping every client bring their unique vision to life.
